Travel & Stay

We've planned the journey so you can enjoy the celebration

From touchdown in Udaipur to goodbye hugs on February 22, we’ve organized airport pickups, smooth check-in, and everything you need to relax and settle in at the Palace.

Airport to Palace

Flying into Maharana Pratap Airport (UDR)? Sit back—the moment you exit arrivals, you’ll spot our welcome crew. We'll handle luggage, transfers, and the scenic 45-minute drive to Labhgarh Palace.

Hosted Stay

All our guests are hosted at Labhgarh Palace Resort & Spa on February 20 & 21. Consider it your royal home base with views of the Aravallis, sprawling lawns, and cozy corners for chai.

Easy Check-in

Rooms open from 11:00 AM on the 20th. Arriving earlier? No problem. Drop your bags, refresh with breakfast, and we'll make sure you’re comfortable until your suite is ready.

Local Support

Need an extra dupatta, a SIM card, or chai recommendations? Our hospitality desk in the lobby will be staffed throughout the weekend to help with any last-minute needs.

Getting to Udaipur

UDR connects daily flights from major Indian hubs. Here’s the quickest way to make your way into the City of Lakes.

Delhi (DEL)

Direct flights run 5-6 times a day (90 mins). Ideal for international arrivals who want an easy connection. Airport lounges and hotel rooms are plentiful for layovers.

Mumbai (BOM)

Multiple daily non-stops (95 mins). Morning departures align perfectly with our 11 AM check-in. If you’re arriving late night, we can arrange early-morning pickups.

Jaipur (JAI)

Short hop (50 mins) or a scenic 6-hour drive through the Aravallis if you want a mini-road trip. We’re happy to help coordinate a car with verified drivers.

Bengaluru (BLR)

Daily direct flights (2 hrs 15 mins). For tech-city friends, aim for the morning departures so you land by lunchtime and have the rest of the day to unwind.

Make the most of Udaipur

Stay an extra day or two before/after the wedding to explore Rajasthan’s romantic lake city.

How long to stay?

We recommend 3–4 days in total: one day before festivities to acclimate, and an extra day afterwards for sightseeing and spa time.

Where to stay beyond Labhgarh?

Consider Taj Lake Palace, The Leela Palace, RAAS Devigarh, or charming boutique havelis near the old city.

Must-see experiences

  • Sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola
  • City Palace & Crystal Gallery
  • Saheliyon-ki-Bari gardens
  • Cooking class + spice market stroll

Eat & unwind

Book rooftop dinners at Ambrai or Upré, sip coffee at Jheel’s Café, and indulge in royal thali at Natraj.

Beyond Udaipur

Travelers coming from overseas often turn this trip into a wider North India adventure. Here are ideas within an easy flight or road journey.

Jaipur & Jodhpur

Pair Udaipur with Rajasthan’s other gems for forts, block-print shopping, and desert sunsets. 1-hour flights or scenic drives connect each city.

Delhi & Agra

Spend 3 days exploring Delhi’s markets and architecture, then visit the Taj Mahal (3.5 hrs by expressway). Easy flights link Udaipur and Delhi.

Ranthambore

Wildlife lovers can head to Ranthambore National Park for tiger safaris. Best visited between October and April; combine with Jaipur for logistics.

Himalayan Escape

Fly north to Rishikesh or Shimla if you’re craving mountains, yoga retreats, or cooler weather after the festivities.
